i have never owned either one, but have worked on lot's of them both.
of those 2 choices...LEGEND all the way.

i have seen, and been in a Legend. they are very fast, and cut thru the waves as opposed to a more "flat" bottom boat slapping the top. i had a 19'9" Legend run off and leave me very badly in some rough water a couple tuesdays ago.... hurt my skeeter 202's feelings pretty bad!!!! i was more than amazed in how it handled 3' waves on Ray Hubbard!!! it is a Legend 199 with a 225 merc on it! its fast enough to give you apretty good pucker factor tourney mornings!! I think its pushin 76mph.... sure has opened my eyes to my ignorance of that brand of boat!

I have a 18'6" Legend LE 186 with a 200 optimax and absoultly love my boat. The one thing that I did notice when buying my boat is that there is not much to up grade on the Legends because they put the best there is on all of the boats standard.
