Windy, post frontal and none of the usual is working. I go bigggg and work areas I think the big sows have staged. Sometimes it pays off. Its days like that I have caught some of my biggest fish. But it usually means about one fish for every three hours of fishing. Geeze youd think I could find something better to do?
I also agree with Joe, its time to go panfishing with the kids or nieces/nephews!

Any weekend on Fork from mid February to late May. Craziest thing I've ever seen...or a day like today haha.

I agree with this list. I absolutely hate fishing in wind, and winning this past Saturday didn't change my mind. I know it can be done...I just hate doing it. Combine strong NW winds, the day after a huge cold front, and bluebird skies...and it's a good day to stay home, sleep late then cook a huge breakfast, and wash the boat.
