 Unusual sighting on Granbury while bass fishing today.

I was bass fishing in the back of a cove in the main lake casting to where water was flowing into the lake when a fish followed my lure to the boat. The unusual thing is I am pretty sure the fish was a trout. Got a really good look at it approx. 12" long fairly slim with a light green back with black dots all down his back. I know they stock trout in the Brazos below Possum Kingdom could that fish have traveled close to 50 miles? I was wondering if anybody has ever caught one of those trout from PK in Granbury?

I know they stock them on a put and take basis in January below PK dam, I guess with the heavy rains and all the inflow down the Brazos it must have washed down. They can't take hot water so it will probably be dead soon.

Chase if you can identify him I will return him he answers to fishy and does tricks. Not sure of his sexual orientation with the rainbow and all.
