well being as that the share a lunker program is only from oct thru april i would have to assume that may and june they are EXTREMELY pressured and no one is really fishing for them as hard...

They spawned out so they dont weigh 13 anymore until they start gaining the weight back.

Those July to November bass think how big they would be if they were caught during the spawn.

There isn't a program during those time frames.

You might also try looking at the top 50 bass ever caught and give those time frames as well.

Good articles in the past Texas Fish and Game about "What if Fork didn't exist" Prior issue of past showed the top 50 without Fork, and it had months as well.

New issue has new Article on same topic, haven't read it yet.

Lots of bass, big bass are caught after the program ends and they don't receive the press that the SALS do.

I've never caught one.... and I didn't know the program was closed on those months.

There is at least 1 fish every May that is 13+, seen a few in July and year before last a 15.65 in August. MOST of the big 13lb fish don't "spawned out" look to them and I really don't think they could be much bigger in prespawn. Only real exception I can think of that really sticks out was Dean Stromans 13.65 last year in May, that fish could have easily put on 2 or 3lbs and not been totally filled out. Big frame, no guts.

See 11 and 12 fish pretty regularly in the post spawn that could EASILY be 13lb+ if they were healthy.
