Usually at this time of year I am tearing up the crappie at the spillway. Well the flooding has certainly messed that up. Very few people are catching fish out there that are keepers. Went out there Sunday, and the fishing was awful there. Lots of people fishing. One reason they weren't doing good is that area had millions of bait fish in it. I saw a guy just dipping up huge amounts right off the surface. I had them coming in my fish basket. You didn't need a minnow trap. The water was down though by the way, which was good.
