This oddly colored female mallard has been hanging out in the cove behind my house for the last three weeks or so, and just like some people, the male mallards love this blonde, I've seen as many as five following her every move...

She's crossed-up with a muscovy, Peking or a white mallard or an accumulation of all three. You'll see this quite often in park ponds or where other species of domestic ducks congregate.

second breambuster. Its funny as much as i duck hunt on public lakes ive never shot a cross duck ive never seen a cross like that migrate.
