I usually just fish for the enjoyment and release everything I catch. Occasionally, I will take a friend fishing and he will take home some fish but I never do. When I was a kid, my Dad always took care of that job, and I never bothered to learn.
Is it better to put them in the livewell and keep them alive until you get back, or put them on ice immediately after catching them?
If you get home and don't feel like cleaning fish, is it OK to keep them on ice over night and do it in the morning?
Can anyone link me to a good how to video for filleting a white bass?
Once you fillet them, what are your favor methods for preparing the fish?
Thanks

I would put them on ice, keep them real cold, and yes you can keep them overnight. these 2 videos are not to bad... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2njws7UYFghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaRkytbvb7I

Ice is good as JV said... Just drain the water.
I have kept fish on ice up to 10 days.

Given my druthers, I'd druther fillet fish while they're still flopping & fresh, but that can present a host of problems. Iced down always seems to work out best for me.
