Will let you know.

Sat out at the bank on Little Elm for a few hours. Saw only one guy catch one crappie.

I went out Sat with my buddy from 7am to 3pm; one sand bass and one catfish. Used minnows and jigs.

I had the good fortune to meet Old Merc at Johnny Joe's in Little Elm before launching. He saw my CATs hat and came over to introduce himself and his buddy. He said he was going to fish north of 720 and then Cottonwood area so I said I was going south and to the I35 area. We traded phone numbers so if either of us was 'on', we'll let the other know. There was no need for phone calls unfortunately.

I fish some bps in the marina area, I35 bridge and a cove or two west of I35 - nada. Then tried for sandies in the Deadman's area - nada; and ended the day for a while at 720 bridge - nada.

BUT, it was a great day to be on the water; it was most enjoyable and had the pleasure of meeting a fellow CATer.

Fished hard this afternoon and into the evening. Only one 10.5" male crappie. Fished a range of locations using recognized methods but only one crappie in 3 feet of water back in a cove. My daughter caught that one. Seems like I've not hooked a crappie in ages.

Hey guys. Sorry to hear you didn't have good luck this weekend. What was the water like (color, temp)?

Thanks
