Bachman is a good little lake but you can only use your trolling motor while fishing out of a bass boat and can't even idle around just like white rock lake they both have a 10hp limit.
The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

We never saw a posting sign or a post on the TPW site about 10hp Max. I even talked to a TPW guy who said nothing about it???

It's a city ordinance and one I've had to deal with at WRL many times when the police stop and ask how I got to the other side of the lake "with this trolling motor" http://www.geocities.com/texasspa/bachman.htmlI really liked your report and there are much bigger fish in there

Only White Rock with a Ten. Theres a misscomunication there somewhere. Thanks for the info and I will foward this to Tom at TPW. And yes there are WAY BIGGER fish in that lake. Casey
