Nope, I'm just the fillet guy. No way to compete with Randy when it comes to letting them swim in the Crisco pond.

How about it guys, I nominate Randy to be the TSA VP of Fish Frys. Do I hear a second?

I know several who'd be in on that one. Go ahead and sign Team Shallow Blonde up if it happens.

Don't short change yourself Joe. The blackened striper you did at the shack is still the best I've ever eaten and I'm STILL trying to duplicate it without success.

Thanks to all the officers and work they put into the TSA. It is hard to find time for those duties, family, work, and of course FISHING at times. The TSA is gonna miss John Farrel and Joe Coleman for sure! Hopefully a few people will step up to help fill those big shoes. We had a great time on the trail (especially the after parties cheers) Team Stripaholic will not compete for a title this year but we may try to fish a couple tourneys. Danny, if your looking for a TD for Tawakoni or other help there let me know. cheers

I just hope the parks are open by then. Every structure at Temple Lake Park and Westcliff park was either damaged or destroyed during the flood this year. Cedar Ridge sits on higher ground and suffered alot less damage. As of yet the corps is out of money for rebuilding. We'll see what happens after the first of the year.

Congrats to Team Stripaholic for their repeat as TOTY!!! Also a big thanks to all the guys that put the tourneys together. I had a blast at all of the ones Team Double Trouble attended. I especially enjoyed the Texoma tourney, I just wish I remembered more of the pre-tourney parties!!!!!! Hehehe. I don't think I will be able to fish with y'all this year. My hip surgery in January will lay me up for 2-3 months. I will miss most of the season, but I may make a couple tourneys towards the end!!!! Good luck guys (and gals)!!!

Randy, Danny, Joe...it sure has been fun to work with you guys on the TSA Boards...I'm looking forward to fishing the tourneys, but from the spectator seats this time as opposed to Treasurer.

While you guys help Randy with cooking, I'll keep an eye on Team Stripaholic at the after-tourney fish-fry cum happy hours! smile

Great times with a great group!

MrG the pavillion we used at the end of the Belton Bunch Tourney never got wet and should be available if booked soon enough. That would work if the TSA wants to come to Belton. I'm sure there would be alot of local interest.

That's right. Cedar Ridge might work too. I just don't know what we'll do if the pros come down here and show us up.grin bolt

I'm just hoping I won't embarrass myself and blank when we come down there Slabndeep. Of course, nobody ever called me a pro.

Y'all remember I was free with the fisin' info at the Richland Chambers tourney last summer. I'll expect a marked up map of Belton and a call on the cell phone when you guys get into 'em hot and heavy. smile

My vote is for Cedar Ridge.

Belton is a nice lake to fish and lots of good fisherman on it. Only problem is no places to stay on the water unless you have a camper or trailer. Temple would be the closest place to stay.

We could make the first two artificial only? After that lets open it up. Just my unofficial thoughts.

That would be a good start at least--let people experience what it would be like. I will be there on the 20th either way. But sitting on a spot dropping a shad doesn't seem much like tournament fishing to me.
