oh do you know where i could get a cheap good sit on to kayak

The trinity was going to be ready this weekend, then it rained...havnt been on it in almost 3 months. they should ready for the catching!!!!!!!!!

Well its back on again!!!!!!!!!!!! went 2 weeks ago and caught a couple. Went this am and and caught 9...3 small cats..2 stripper one about 2-3 lb the caught 4 lmb biggest was around 6lbs..remeber guys this is the trinity river in north arlington....it was going to get better until the wife called and said time to come home..will go again in the am and will post when done......

Forgot to add met a guy donw there named Jeff. Watched him get about a 5lber to the bank then get off then watched him land probably a 3-4 lber. He said he usually catches cats range for 1-50 lbs out of the trinity. After today it wouldnt suprise me at all.

Fished this am with a buddy of mine.. the discharge produced nothing ended up catching 5 total down the river will try again this coming weekend...

Thanks for the report, I've been thinking of going back out but wasnt sure if the water had cleared up yet. Has the river changed much since last year, I would guess all the log jams have moved and been replaced with new ones. Is the parking situation the same? Hope to see ya out there again.

River has changed a bunch..more log piles.. the water isnt as clear as it was last year but not to bad. the parking is the same and the trip down to the rier and back up is a B**CH!!!!!!

I will go again this sat/sun probably by me self my fishing buddies are dove hunting this weekend and getting the lease ready for hunting.to much work for hunting..thats why i fish year round!!

Fished this am. I parked at the gate on green blet and crossed that litle field only caught 2 and had to talk the security guard at the water treatment plant for crossing that field. Its a restricted area, now i know. Thats the most action that guard had seen in a long time. THere was another guy donw there in a blue and white sot yak....

Hey dosparks, that was me in the yak. I didnt land a single fish. Had a couple of hard hits, probably gar. I think it needs to clear up alittle more and the bass fishing should be great again.

IF the water clears I'll go again the sunday..ill be in the yak this time when i left i crossed the field and a guard from the water treatment plant got bent out of shape...

Went this am..caught 3 lmb bigest 2 1/2 lbs too the scales this time... Caught what i think was a small stripper and a nice size cat all on a white spinner bait.had another cat that got air and spitthe hook....also busted my a** going down to the river big knot on my calf...

can you not use a rope to lower your ride, & then to pull it back up ?
Trinity is tough for access.

I'm going to have to try something different next time i go..you can add a nice bruise on my butt also...until the last rains came the trail was actually very east to go downa nd up. I need to go down there anddo some work o the trail....

went this am i caught 5 and a buddy caught 7. he caught one channel cat that was a good 6lbs....
