I caught them in Panama out of Gamboa in Lake Gatun. They were about 1 to 2#. They said a big one is 5#.
Then I went to Brazil and those under 10 didn’t draw much interest. You could catch 5#er on the hair jig if you wanted numbers.

Brazil is a great place to get some good peacock bass You have a fight when you get into the 15+ range.
The gene pool could use a little chlorine.
