I have a Lowrance Elite FS9 (single channel transducer) currently connected to factory installed through-hull transducer. I recently picked up a 3 in 1 Active Imaging transducer to provide DI/SI. I was told I could use a Y cable to connect the two transducers to maintain depth on plane. My understanding was that the Y cable eliminates the 2D signal from the 3 in 1, sending the 2D signal from the through-hull to the unit. I believe the Y cable is only sold as a kit with a 2 in 1 transducer.

Does anyone happen to have one they would be willing to part with?

What you want to do is only for 2-1 when you have 2 sonar transducers on a single channel sonar they do not (DO NOT) play together. So get the 2 in 1 and you will be golden.
