Looking to catch a lot of bullhead catfish. What lakes or ponds have a lot of bullhead in them?Any tips or advice on how to catch them would be great too.

Earthworms are the best bait for bullheads. They are usually found in ponds that are not stocked with channel catfish. Residential ponds are often a great place to find them. Are you trying to find them in a certain area of the state?

Kids and I were messing around and I bet them I could catch fish on hot dogs. Caught about 6 bull heads all in one spot. They also seem to love carp bait as we seem to now always catch them while carp fishing.

Chicken liver works well if you can't turn any worms.

We used jackrabbit meat to catch them years ago on the Middle Concho River. Fast and furious action and the bait stayed on the hook for a long time!
