Hey fishing freaks, I am headed to Lake Texoma the last weekend in March on a father and son camping/fishing trip. I wanted to see if anyone would be able to help with some general tips for stripers or whites on this lake? I know the stripers typically prefer live shad, but I don't have a set up for a shad tank (like I would know where to find the shad anyways LOL). Are the whites up the river in Oklahoma, or the Red on the west end of the lake? We will be staying at Eisenhower S.P. any and all tips would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah they may be up the rivers, but you’ll have a hard time catching them in there. I know there are some creeks on the lake they run up but I haven’t fished them. Check out google maps and see if there are some creeks with flowing water you can find and access.

The fish are back in the main lake off Washita Point. 65 Feet of Water. If you can't catch shad you can catch small bluegill with rod and real/red worms. If live bait is out of the question then jig a chrome cast master or white slab. Locate the school and drop your jig into them. Don't waste your time dropping live bait or jigging until you find a school to drop your bait into.

Thanks for all the advice, I will check these spots out this coming weekend. I will give a full report of our time on the water when we get back.
