This was often a topic of convo during guide trips while passing the time between bites (yes, often a very lengthy convo cuz the fishing at Fork can be slow lol). Anyways, there's no doubt that premium fishing rods and reels are super nice. The debate comes in regarding which gives more bang for your buck by spending more on the rod or the reel, if you're only willing to splurge for one of them. In my opinion, there is a clear winner. My 2 cents on it...
