I think I’ve asked this before, but has anyone ever run across one? I’ve caught plenty of the sandbass Yellow bass hybrids, but never seen one of these.

I'm not sure where they come from, or how they are formed but I've caught a handful 15-17" yellow tinted fish with hybrid type broken lines over the years. 3 or 4 on tawak and 1 or 2 on Cedar Creek. Only in the winter deadsticking for some reason. They are about as common as a pigmy hybrid in my experience.

That fish looks to be about 10-11 inches. the ones I've caught had more broken lines, but this one does have a few and seems to have that iridescent glow above its gills like a hybrid.

It would probably eat good!
