I recently bought a 24 High Country baby Duramax with the magnetic ride suspension. I specifically bought this vehicle to give me a reprieve from the pounding my back takes in my older SuperDuty. It rides like in my opinion. Granted it has 22" wheels which I know doesn't help but I honestly thought this would be a much smoother riding vehicle. The front end doesn't seem settled and it feels like it picks up every road imperfection. I had the tires re-balance at my first oil change at 5k miles and I can't tell a difference. I'm going to have them rotated on my next oil change coming up. I might even have the Bridgestones swapped for Michelins. If I can't get it smoothed out, I'll take a beating and unload it and trade it in for a Ram with the air ride. It is such a nice vehicle but I almost hate getting into it now. And I'm driving to Wyoming and New York later this year so it has to get figured out soon.

Nothing worse than an [censored] whooping just trying to drive. Good luck with the search for a decent ride.

Problem might be those 22" rims. Changing tires is not going to help the ride unless you are going to a lower load rating and lower air pressure.

22" wheels are the problem. Chevy's ride pretty decent on 18's.
My super duty on 18's is better than my buddy's on 20s. 22s would be worse than that.
Also air the tires down to 40-45 when not towing.

Yep, itโs the rims and smaller sidewall.

Always run 40 psi. My 20's Toyo's AT3's ride nice on my GMC. It is a truck.

I too agree that it's probably the 22" wheels. My 1500 AT4 rides close to my Ram w/ air ride did and they were both on 20" wheels. Someday someone will be able to explain to me how the bigger the wheel the more expensive the tires, yet there is less material used???

He could have 22s with plenty of sidewall, if he is running 37s or bigger.

I would think it may be the 22 's . Chevy Z71's seem to ride lite on the front ends on gas and 3.0 diesels . i had a 2020 gas and i have 2024 3.0 diesel now . We have a little bridge by Ray Roberts and both trucks lope the same across it , both have 20's. They really lope with a 20 ft boat behind one

I have a 2020 Ram 1500 with Air Ride. Incredible ride. I actually got the Air Ride option to be able to deal with the slope on my drive way when bringing the trailer up the drive way, which it works great for as it will move the truck height up and down. But the ride was a HUGE bonus. I say this vehicle is a HYBRID vehicle. A competent pickup. Part luxury SUV. Part Hot Rod with the HEMI. Never loved a vehicle more and I've had plenty of them including 7 other pickups.

First thing. Inflate the tires properly. That sticker on the door pillar ain't there for ballast.
MY 2021 1500 High Country says 36 front and rear. Got it back from the shop. Rode bad. They inflated all four to 40. 42 on my gage.
I hear Escalades ride good.
