Has anyone fished the creek/pond at Centennial Park in Irving? Is fishing allowed there?

It used to be a concrete drainage ditch for years before irving tried to renovate that area, I'm sure you could probably fish without issue.
I figure its less than waist deep all the way thru though, mostly less, with turtles, perch and maybe a few dink scraggler bass; post an update if you decide to go & have any luck
