Not sure where you are located at, but Fayette County, Lake Bastrop and Coleto Creek are the first that come to mind.

It's been many years since I fished Gibbons Creek, but I caught a lot of really huge ones on crankbaits in there. I imagine the warm water discharge has sustained the population through the really cold periods since then. Used to be tons of Tilapia in Gibbons Creek. Like so many other coal plants the EPA has saved us from that plant has been shut down for like 6 years.

I saw a dead tilapia at Bastrop for the 1st time last weekend.
