The past week has been great for short sleeves and sunscreen…… if you’re somewhere other than Ivie. I shouldn’t complain. The ice on my reels helped to slow the retrieve. The fish wanted it slow. Dead slow. Caught several the past few days up to 6lbs. The whites are nonstop if you want a tug every other cast. Thats always fun but Im ready for the spawn which reminds me we have a full moon Monday. Call if you’re interested in a trip. www.ohiviebass.com 830.768.3648 Stan [Linked Image]

Looks like a blast. Why is the glide bait missing its rear hook?
I’m giving serious thought to making the pilgrimage sometime in the coming weeks.

Personal preference. I remove it on 90% of my baits with trebles. That particular bait is several years old. From a scuba diving perspective it swims better and looks much more realistic without a rear hook. I think it gets hung up less also. Last night I saw a picture of a local that caught a big fish on a swimbait recently and it had both treble hooks. Obviously it didn’t matter to that fish. Top single hooks are great also
