Didn't have a lot going on today so I hooked up the boat and headed to Bastrop Lake. Wanted to get a better look at that floating brush pile I found last month. I caught a bunch of bluegills off that thing my last time there and today was no different. As shown in the screen shot below, there's a rope attached to an object on the lake floor. This is the third time fishing it. I used my 10' crappie pole with earth worms and gulp alive minnows to put 25 bluegill and 1 crappie in the boat. It was a lot cooler than expected so I only fished for a few hours before heading home.

Thanks for the replies
Steve- I’ve caught crappie in there before but not enough to make a meal. They are hard to find.

Gator - good luck finding that thing. It looked like a bait ball on my side scan. If I hadn't put the livescope on it, I never would have fished it.
