 Quick Dunlap Fishing Report.

Weighed the pending Guadalupe Bass Record for Lake Dunlap last night. The fish was 15.25" in length and the weight was 1.84 Lbs. The current record is 1.45 Lbs that was set in January of 2014. The angler stated he caught a lot of small bass between 12" and 15" that weighed between 1 to 3 lbs. Boat traffic was light. Angler fishes for bass and has fished Dunlap a lot over the years. He stated that Dunlap is starting to make a very good comeback. Side Note: I also received during last week, permission from the owner of two docks that I have fished at numerous times over the years on Lake Dunlap. He said I can fish them any time and to park on his property just across from the docks. I named them the "Trophy Docks" home of the World Record Rio Grande Cichlid!
