 HS Playoffs and a minor rant

My old HS (Port Neches-Groves (10-1) is into the 3rd round in 5A DII and plays Texas High (11-0), Texarkana, Tx. They beat Crandall 58-28 tonight and apparently they are very offensive minded and are kickin' some btt. The schools are 300 miles apart. Anyone familiar with Crandall ... they had only 1 defeat and got curb stomped. It was 44-7 at the half.
Other team I'm wondering about is South Oak Cliff. They play a strong Huntsville team at 3PM tomorrow (Sat.).
What's going on with your teams or teams you know something about. Texas HS playoff football rocks!
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Texas High is awfully good this year... only lost 1 game over the past 2 seasons. They could have beaten Crandall by 60 +. Didn't play their starters in the 2nd half... emptied the bench. But that doesn't really mean much Rb... Kids and momentum/emotion... you know how this HS deal goes...

Aledo rolled over Abilene. Take a round or 2 to clean out the ones who really have no business being in playoffs.

Boerne is doing ok so far, the kids got thrown into 5A II this year and after a few beatings, they seem to be figuring it out. Probably get beat down after the next game they play though.

As to south oak cliff they wl be plenty tough. They lost non district games to 6a north shore and duncanville i believe. No shame there. Huntsville will get all they want and then some

I just looked at Huntsville schedule. They can start making plans for off season I'm gonna guess.

As to south oak cliff they wl be plenty tough. They lost non district games to 6a north shore and duncanville i believe. No shame there. Huntsville will get all they want and then some SOC always has a tough team. Back-to-back champions in '21 and '22. Runner up in '23.
