Lake Fork Anglers (LFA) Bass Fishing Club – Hard Cord Championship Tournament Results: 11/21/2024

Hard Core Tournament – All Bass 10 inches and over count towards total weight scored.

This was the annual Hard Core Championship Tournament, with 30 members that qualified to
fish. A total of 162 bass caught and released, including one lunker bass over 5 lbs. Very cold
start to the day, but as the temperature warmed up, so did the catching, though mostly small
fish as the larger fish have not started to move up yet.

Winning Anglers
1. Steve Roll 15 Bass @ 16.37 lbs. (Hard Core Tournament Angler Champion)
2. Billy Davis with 12 Bass @ 15.95 lbs.
3. Galen Smith with 10 Bass @ 13.95 lbs.
Big Bass: Bill Ailes @ 4.31 lbs.

Winning Co-Anglers
1. Ken Kielbas with 5 Bass @ 13.67 lbs. (Hard Core Tournament Co-Angler Champion)
2. Tom Whitrock with 4 Bass @ 9.59 lbs.
3. Matt Scotch with 5 Bass @ 9.19 lbs.

The Lake Fork Anglers (LFA) tournaments are two-person catch and release tournaments held every
Thursday with an angler and a co-angler per boat. Anglers compete against anglers and Co-Anglers
compete against co-anglers.

Two club tournament formats are rotated weekly.
• LFA – best 5 Bass over 10”
• Hard Core – all Bass over 10”
Members are mostly seniors, with membership open to all persons who are physically able to fish and function
