The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our season ending two day Championship Tournament on November 9-10 on Lake Pat Mayse. 46 members qualified for the Championship and most participated. 21 boats were on the water with us. Fishing was surprisingly good especially on Day 1 as some solid bags were brought in. Day 2 with bluebird skies and no wind got tougher. When the scales were closed for the year, the team of Ronnie Manning and Capp Peace went home the winners. Consistency was key over two days and back to back 14 pound bags totaling 28.83 sent them home with the winners check. The team of Jeremy McLeroy and Tim Clark got big bass for the tournament with an 8.36 monster. Here are full results and pictures

Many of us have felt the sting of getting caught after leading on Day 1. This year went to Jeremy McLeroy and Tom Clark with a two day total of 26.67 that got them Second Place. However they also won Day 1 big bass money and took home the Heavy Hitters money for biggest bag of the two days and this goes along with being the 2024 RHBC Anglers of the Year! Helluva year boys! Congrats!

Here are your winners! Consistency is key over two days abd a two day total of 28.83 took home the big prize for Ronnie Manning and Capp Peace. Well done boys!

That's a wrap for 2024. Thanks to everyone who contributed to another great year for the RHBC! A huge than you to my Officers, David Mulkey, Garrett Browne, Jay Browne, Eugene McBride, Tyler Austin, Hector De La Garza and Chad Grace and especially to my friend and partner Chris Atkinson who puts up with me but also all the things that go along with being President of this motley crew. Our first meeting of 2025 will be on Tuesday January 14th and our first tournament will be on Saturday February 8th. The schedule for 2025 will be announced soon. See you in January!
