My Thanks Goes Out To Jack Of Gomexus That Helped Me On This!
I got really sick before iCAST at Florida so couldn't go meet some key personnel at selected booths so got my items in the mail. I recently received a Daiwa Saltist 4500 & needed a Gomexus Power Handle for it so requested a 65mm Power Handle. According to stats given to Amazon & eBay the 65mm was the size for the 6500. But when it arrived it was too small. I messaged Jack at Gomexus who told me i needed the next size up the 75mm.
This went against some retail listings but also confirmed in others. But Gomexus wasn't aware of these 2 sets of information that was given out. Even recently when i received the newest Gomexus Jigging Reel the LS20 the conversion done by Gomexus to english for the American market wasn't complete or accurate. So i did this video to answer some questions that even made me ponder. I did message Jack as his english seems pretty good so hopefully all the advertisements will be accurate.
I also did this for Okuma Fishing. In the 1st year i re-vamped over 2dz listings that had "questionable" information. So for my Saltist 4500 the 75mm, not the 65mm will fit even though some Amazon & eBay listings will say it's the 65mm. I had originally gotten the 65mm for my 4500 but Jack knew off the top of his head that it should've been the 75mm size. So he sent the the corrected size after i messaged him.
The "bonus" here is that the 75mm will fit the threading of the massive 8000 Saltist! But i'm thinking i'll just get the blue/black 47mm Power Knob instead. Why? It's the length. It's way to short for that incredibly massive spinner! I had originally done that to the handle of the 4500 Saltist. I added on the 47mm Knob instead. I'll just do it again for the original 8000 handle. I'm sure after this is said & done business will be back to normal. On the 2500 & 3000 Saltist sizes i was again told the 65mm will work but again i see different info out there regarding this. But i'll leave that to someone else to tackle. Took me awhile just to finalize just this project.
