hello mr rj answer the question if they needed to tie the 350,000 tower to the cradle because it could jump out of the cradle that goes halfway up the tower why would anyone think they don't need to chain the cradle to the trailer since this 350,000 tower can move so easily it can jump out of the cradle so why did they spent the time to tie it to the cradle and not the trailer. and please produce picture of the rig before the wreck so we can see it wasn't tie down as you say. LMAO good gosh Cradle is a 2 piece that has a center pivot between top and bottom.. tower can only be chained to cradle and base is welded to trailer or whatever you call em. No way you could chain from tower directly to trailer. Exactly. To be able to make a turn there’s no way it was chained to the trailer. If it was a single trailer, yes, they would chain it directly to the trailer, but not in this case. There are no magical binders attached anywhere out in the middle, it’s only chained to the 2 shipping steel platforms. The entire load, 500 million pounds is the rumor, was riding on two pivot points. You can see this one in the picture of it in transport. Circled in red to match 921’s fiery personality. And another picture, in transport, to show there are no other magical binders. The tower was riding on the two pivot points, not the whole load. lol, what was the rest of the load?

Five trailers with the load on the pivot points on the first and last trailer. I guess the middle 3 trailers were just for spanning the distance and not carrying weight.

And another picture, in transport, to show there are no other magical binders. as the police report stated and I have stated many times on this thread the tower is strap to cradle cradle is strap to trailer not a hard concept. The cradle is designed to carry the weight and to have load tied to it and then cradle tie to trailer that is how they strap load to trailer. just for you dumb people it's against the law both federal and state to travel with a unsecured load. the driver would get a ticket if rj was right which he is not he lying about it not being strap onto the trailer. The first thing that would have happen when the police got there would be all paperwork by the driver would have been taken and if it was a UNSECURE load as oh great one rj wants everyone to believe the driver would have gotten a ticket and probably charged with manslaughter on the spot but neither happen because rj is LYING it was strapped to trailer through cradle like it was designed. my first couple post are exactly like the police report. except for the company stated the truck hit the trailer the police say it was brakes on back trailer. Which that makes about as much sense as no straps because the truck and trailer all have brakes and if the back trailer locks up so does the other trailers and truck. There wouldn't have been a wreck if that was the case and they weren't going much over 35-45 MPH anyway. something caused the back trailer to operate differently than the other trailers and truck and they are all on same air lines and foot valve. I doubt the whole truth has come out yet and it sure isn't coming from nut RJ LAMO no tie downs yea right that is against the law and that would be the story on the front page of every newspaper in the world and you can bet the lawyers would already know that and have it posted NO TIES downs wow that is the dumbest thing I have ever read anywhere. Maybe a couple of the lawyers on here could explain to these boys what the lawyers would do if it really wasn't tied down. maybe they will also explain the unsecured load laws that are a misdemeanor before lost of life and what it would be if the load was unsecured and lost of life. no tie downs LAMO

Five trailers with the load on the pivot points on the first and last trailer. I guess the middle 3 trailers were just for spanning the distance and not carrying weight. no all trailer axles carry weight which is the main reason for multiple trailers most of the time they are call jeeps for weight. The length of this one probably required a back driver for a steerable back trailer axles from someone in a back car with bluetooth computer. This has multiple drivers on a load this long it's not a one man show. These trailers are steered by remote most of the time on these really long loads and trailers. a lot more to it than a single driver not strapping a load down rj has no clue apparently about these loads and he dang sure as never driven one of these loads. I gess someone needs to send rj the police's phone number so he can teach them that this was a unsecured load the darparment of transportation in TX must not know the laws and especially the unsecured load laws. LMAO what and absolute nut no tie downs LAMO

I guess the middle 3 trailers were just for spanning the distance and not carrying weight. do nothin it was explain to me this way once. Think of the whole load as a single unit when you move it from front to back it shifts the weight from front to back so you tie it on the ends and put the jeeps under it to disperse the weight from front to back along all the axles to make sure the weight per square inch on the road is less than on the tires of your car or truck. This was engineered many moons ago to save roads and to make sure big loads do not put more weight per square inch of tire to save our roads. This is how they can run heavy weights and not completely destroy our roads with the heavy weights. thing about trying to balance the weight from front to back you only have to move it a little to get the weight to shift quickly.

I wrote it on about 2 or 3 page of this post after my son talked to the guys over at southern he works around, he just called them which is how I already knew. They were understanding he hit the back trailer which makes more sense, either he hit a airline which immediately lock brakes up on all trailers behind where he would have hit it or he hit the trailer and that brief moment shift the weight of 343,000 pound tower which snap those chains rj says didn't exist.
