Looks like a good starter Ranch. Is this why you were asking about Bass rods & reels? Don't think I'd call 450 acres a "starter ranch." A section is 640. It's a sizable place with lots of potential.

Looks by the pics like you could use a few grass carp.
Congrats. 7 acre pond is big enough to grow double digit size bass.
