Sure miss the old Terminator Titanium Spinnerbaits. Glad I bought over 100 years ago when then changed packaging. I thought they were going to stop making them so I stocked up. Fast forward a few years later and they did stop making them. My favorite by far. Caught 7 keepers on one just the other day in a Media tournament.

If you need a heavy-duty 3/4 oz, Oldhams is hard to beat.

Mr. Blitz,is all I have used for the last 29 yrs. I have only broke 1, but I could'nt gripe because I had caught like 25-30 fish from1.5-10 lbs. on it. That being said, any spinnerbait that has a R bend, instead of a twist is ( not can) but is going to break, after you catch enough fish on them.

I used to use a Strike King 3/4 ounce and never had issues other than if I didn't retie regularly I'd throw them 300 yards up into the woods or someone's yard. I don't think they make the one I used anymore. They have one now called a bottom dweller. That probably replaced it.

I still call Terry about once a year & order heavy duty spinnerbaits- he builds what I want & they never fail. I order a couple dozen at a time.

Another option is to PM Donald Harper on here. He puts together some awesome spinnerbaits.

When it comes to heavy-duty spinnerbaits, anglers have a variety of options to choose from. These robust lures are designed to handle larger fish and challenging conditions. Let’s explore some key aspects of heavy-duty spinnerbaits:
Weight Range: Spinnerbaits come in different weights, and heavier options are ideal for specific scenarios. A 1/2-ounce spinnerbait falls into the lighter end of the heavy spinnerbait spectrum. The 3/4-ounce size serves as a workhorse and is commonly used. In certain situations, anglers may opt for even heavier spinnerbaits, weighing up to 1 1/2 ounces.
Applications: Pike and Muskie: For targeting these aggressive predators, consider heavy spinnerbaits with a .045 gauge stainless wire body. This robust construction withstands bending under the load of powerful fish. Submergent Weed Beds: Slow-rolling heavy spinnerbaits through weed beds can be effective. The weight helps you navigate vegetation while enticing strikes.
Quality Components: Investing in quality components ensures durability. While spinnerbaits are generally snag-resistant, spending a bit more on top-quality materials is worthwhile. Look for well-built blades, sturdy wire, and reliable hooks.
Remember that spinnerbaits trigger reaction strikes from various species, making them versatile additions to your tackle box. Whether you’re after largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, pike, or other gamefish, heavy-duty spinnerbaits can be effective tools in your arsenal.

That's what I do... And remember the R bend spinnerbaits don't last as long as the traditional twisted wire... Dan
