One of my favorite cities in America. Always been there for work and have only enjoyed the nightlife and entertaining customers. Taking the kids and wife, any recommendations on kid friendly stuff? Gonna eat my share of crawfish and boudin, any food places I need to try?

It’s not your typical Cajun food, but there is a bad ace pizza place down town. I can’t remember the name of it but had it while there last September. I’ll see if I can find the name.

North side of town

Must be four generations of great grandma down to the teenagers working in there with pops cooking some of the meats.

It isn’t fancy, but it’s the real deal….save room for homemade pie/cake for desert…outstanding.

This place is old school, take your hat off and say your please and thank yous.

Do yourself a huge favor and bring the largest cooler you have. Drive north to Pinepraire and fill Dat cooler up at Guillorys Specialty meats. Best Boudin in the state and some. food

Tour Avery Island. It's where the Tabasco factory is and it's a great experience.

The family sold a few years ago, hopefully their fantastic reputation continues.
