I’ve done the first two. I haven’t won a tournament that payed more than 5k yet but my fishing partner and I won 22k for 2nd place in the Brandon Belt Championship on Choke Canyon!

its all about the social media clicks nowadays. 1&3 are good. I have yet to weigh in over 30# in a tournament. Done it quite a few times non tournament....as quite a few of us have that actually fish on the water and not on the keyboard.

Your time is coming. I see you as a PRO one day on one of the circuits. You caught larger fish as a child than most grown men. Designed your own color jig at an early age, learned how to adapt to any condition, and now have learned how to master the newest in electronics. You are well rounded and will do well! I'm a fan! you earned it!

Nope, but the waters I frequent don't produce 10lbers... Now I've traveled and fished lakes that are known to produce them... But no luck so far... Although I do have a 7.2lb smallmouth in my resume...

Nope... I've probably weighed in 30lbs in a whole tournament season two or three times... Winning stringers on the Ohio River probably average around 7-8 pounds a tournament... A lot of tournaments are won with 5 fish weighing in at around 6lbs.. It's tough, real tough...

Nope, most I've won is $1200... I've always fished small club and fundraisers... Fished Redman for a few seasons and then had kids...

Yes, Yes, and Yes..

But honestly most of it was due to geography and the ability to be on the water a lot. I was fortunate to fish Falcon 3-4 times a week from 2007 thru 2012..

That was truly a magical five- or six-year period.

I should have fished more!

Fishing is not a matter of life or death,
it's much more important than that!
