So the Farmer's Almanac says we are in for a rough winter. We all know how it was back in 21/22. Not that I put much into the almanac, best I can tell they are about 50% accurate. The last few days I have been putting a little thought into my prepping. Water, 3650/4650 watt genny that I can rig to run central heat, fuel, cans of gas, propane, canned food, meds, pet food and so on, camp stove, buddy heaters for backup. What y'all got?

A few CO detectors, batteries , lights. My goal is to go comfortably for a week with no power.

I work at a hospital and of course we have plenty of emergency power, food, water, etc available. If I lose power at home I'll just live in my office until it comes back on. And if there's snow or ice involved, we have a bunch of employees who live out of town that have trouble making it in, so any staff that wants or needs to stay are welcome to do so.

just finished the generac install, no more bs if the power goes out.

propane tanks now have a wireless monitor so they are not supposed to get lower than 20%, 500 gal. tanks (2)

I always have food for 2 weeks or more if I stretch it, too dam far to the store not to stock up and shop less.
