I took a last minute trip to PINS with my oldest daughter for some very rare father daughter alone time. Surf was pretty clean and flat with only a small chop, light breeze-beautiful conditions both Saturday and the few hours we were there Sunday before heading back to Georgetown. Live bait was limited caught some large croaker in the surf and a few mullet but not much action. Sunday, we picked up some live croaker and managed a few trout. Great time on the beach-found a live sand dollar which thrilled my daughter. Took some long walks and had a great dinner at Island Italian Restaurant on Saturday while the longhorns beat Alabama Great memories and another successful trip to the seashore.

Well done dad!

Appreciate the comments-in my opinion there really is no better place than PINS and I have never had a bad time out there. I will cherish those moments forever.

Glad you had a good trip. I'm getting reports that the mullet run has started. I'm not getting down to PINs until late October. Hopefully, they will continue until then.
