to eat this Saturday and never been there. Taking the family (9) out after my grandson soccer game. BBQ, Burgers or Tex-Mex will be the choices they will decide on.

Cancun's.
A little above average Tex-Mex. / American. Everything on the menu is good (except the nachos), but a solid Average.
Oddly .... this is our Go-To place for Fried Catfish. Excellent.
A couple miles North of town on Hwy. 77. In front of Atwoods. Atwoods is a good place to walk off after a good meal.

Don't know about a place to eat lunch or dinner, but if you like barbecue you might want to visit Matt Pittman's Meat Church store for something else to do while you're there. Matt's an excellent cook, he does lots of videos and sells his spices and other items from his store there. And I'm sure someone there could recommend a good barbecue place to eat there. Meat Church BBQ Supply 114 W. Main St. Waxahachie, Texas 75165

Agree with Meat Church, but they don't sell food. The only good BBQ Joint I know of in Waxahachie is that big red barn looking place south of downtown. I think it's called Harris BBQ. Good stuff, almost no dining room, and I think they mostly do lunch. My daughter likes Tuscan Slice Italian .... I hate it. There is a Dickies ....... but then it's Dickies.

We ended up eating Mexican at Campuzanos. It was only about three miles from the field and was recommended on THF. Service, food and drinks were great. Drinks were pricey but were well worth it and will sneak up on you (you will have to ask my wife )

Well okay.
There used to be a Campuzanos in Midlothian but they closed down. Rent increases got to be too much for them. They were always dependable in Midlo.
Glad you enjoyed the experience.

This one has no worry's as it was packed when we got there and same when we left. Only had a 15 minute wait for a table of eight is one thing that impressed me also.

If you want a really nice dinner and unique place; Wilsons Indeed they are great...The family of the (now gone) David's Seafood in Cedar Hill opened it up.
