Get a set of car tires, cheaper and will last longer. No way I would run P rated tires on my boat trailer. I do run them on a utility trailer is that light and only carries a smallish ATV. Look at all the boats that have trailers with 17" or 18" wheels. They all run car tires. Heck, even BassCat uses car tires on their standard wheels. Never heard of wheels that big on a boat trailer. Has the low profile trend also hit boat trailers?

In my experience I would loose a tire or 2 on every boat trailer I owned, within 2 years. With car tires I have yet to loose one in the last 5 years. If i had a heavy duty flat bed trailer, its would be on trailer tires. My UTV was hauled around on car tires for many years.

Goodyear Endurance are American made. More expensive than any of the other ST tires out there but based on my experience with other options well worth the money. The rest are mostly made in China. You got to ask yourself who do you want to support. A Chinese worker or an American worker. For those who choose the Chinese version, what if there was a Chinese option for the job that you make your living for. Who would you want people to support? It just surprises me that we spend $50 to $90 k for a bass boat and won’t spend the money on a tire made in the US. There you have my tire rant. THIS^ There are a lot of deaf ears on this site when you talk about American goods but I agree with you. Even though Toyota makes a lot of vehicles here people think they are helping Americans here when only a small portion of the money stays here, Toyota reaped a whopping $139 BILLION in US sales alone last year, this is all money leaving our country.

Toyota does a lot to help bass fishing and wildlife protection. Dodge Chrysler Jeep is not American owned. Chevrolet parts are not made in USA. Buick actually has entire vehicles sold here that are made in china(Buick Invision is 100% Chinese made) . Cadillac builds cars on Chinese platforms. (XT4 is a Chinese Cadillac) Chevrolet has a LOT of Chinese parts in them. In fact….most GM Vehicles have majority parts from either Mexico or china. Not a lot of USA made parts in a domestic vehicle. Toyota has more American made parts in their trucks than dodge and GM combined. It’s a slippery slope raising that American flag and thinking you are supporting American people. Truth is….most of what you use everyday doesn’t come from our own country. There are a few Chinese made tires that are actually very well made. NAMA tires, Vision Marine….those two brands are exceptionally well made tires. Having owned NAMA, Endurance, now Vision Marine….the Goodyear Endurance would be third on my list. I have had numerous issues with Endurance tires….ive had nothing but good results with NAMA….same trailer. Now the Ranger is on Vision Marine. They seem to be a great tire too.

My Tundra was made in SanAntonio. I haven’t found a part in it that was Chinese made yet. Even the electronics (radio and stuff) is Japanese or made in USA. Maybe my aftermarket towing mirrors are Chinese. Probably are since they look like they are fading and cheap.
