I fish worms and jigs
I am good with shakeyhead, but can catch most of those fish with a worm ot jig.
I fish crankbait and jerk bait if I must
I should fish topwater and I know it costs me sometimes.
The rest is just not my bag

T-riggers and draggers = mostly older folks who like to soak it

Crankbaiters and moving baiters = mostly those who do not think of fishing as sitting on a stool and waiting on a fish to bite

Swim / Glide baiters = mostly those that like to spend entirely too much on baits

I don't do one more than others is actually my problem and challenge....From boat when I go on the water by myself, I load up 12 poles....will start with the first 12, then change colors and change until something starts to hit. If I go with live bait then I drop 4-6 lines with live bait and start casting something. Wish I had the courage to limit what I'm using based on time of year.

Start with....
1- Crankbaits/ squarebill / shallow
2- Crankbaits / deep divers
3- Worms/ Creature / lizards / brush hogs, plastics
4- Jigs
5- Drop shots
6- Top water / spinnerbaits / poppers / walking stick baits.
7- Chatterbaits
8- Spoons
9- Shakeyhead/Ned
10- Wacky Rig
11- Frog
12- Jerkbaits
13- Swim bait
14- Glide bait
15- A rig

Strengths, jigs, spinnerbaits, swimbaits (large, medium, small, wood or plastic), chatterbaits, dropshots, hard jerkbaits and plastics.

Weaknesses, light tackle 8lb or less, not really interested, frogs, and cranks , I have caught a lot of fish on them but I fish other techniques better.

Strengths = 3 - Worms or plastics

Weakness = all the rest except 14, but I will waist time throwing other types of baits then go back to 3

14 - other - perch, water dogs, shiners - very strong

Slide right, coming in .... Fish On!

What constitutes a strength and/or weakness? Some days I can catch fish on all of them and other days can’t catch a cold…just curious. Maybe I’m just a “weak” fisherman but it’s dang sure fun!
