I will be near Lake Livingston in September. Are there any Rios in that region? I have never caught one and would like to try.
Thanks

Have not fished Livingston in years and when I did I have never seen much less catch a Rio there. If you do decide to fish for them look for sand or gravel beds or brush piles in 6 to 8 feet of water. Let us know how you do. thumb

Banker, I guess wasn't exactly asking about the lake, but the region. I mean can I find them in local creeks or ponds?

Look for creeks with a good flow. Rios love holding by brush piles, gravel bottoms, and grass beds. thumb

Side Note: They also love worms. hooked
