Wife and I went to Fayette to chase the sunnies today. Water temperature was in the high 80's with winds light and variable. Got on the water at 7:50 and picked up the lines and headed home at 12:30. Fished several areas and landed around 40 before setting out looking for more action. Found 4 more areas on the east side of lake and got almost 30 more. Ended the day with 68. Kept 1/2 dozen to eat and released the rest. All fish caught on gulp alive charthouse and black shad.
Unusual that there were only 3 boats in the parking lot when we arrived and only a parked pontoon when we left. Fun day.
