We smoke them regularly and shred it up for tacos. Really beefy flavor.

I smoked one and wasn’t impressed. Muck prefer a crock pot with all the trimmings. Lots of folks like them smoked though. I’m the same after doing it both ways I prefer a crock pot or oven covered with foil. I use beef broth for liquid instead of water. Add a bag of small carrots, quartered yellow onion and lately some stalks of celery cut about 1/2” long. Makes a great meal that will last for a number of days! This ^^^^ In the oven. Best part is leftover Chuck roast sandwich with mayonnaise and sliced dill pickles

No love for a crock pot chuck roast?
Thats how I do it.
well wrap my head in doogg chit ---- something I can actually agree with that Cliff is saying . If you think a chuck roast on the crock pot is good ---- try doing the same beef short ribs and use a wine sauce

Sous vide for 36 hours. Throw it in an ice bath and then the fridge. Then put it on the smoker for about 90 minutes at low heat, finish with a torch. It will be the best you have ever had.

If you’ve not already done so, you must go online and try the Mississippi Chuck roast recipe done in a crock pot. It is really good and it’s so easy to do.
