Buy one of the expensive models, cook some ribs on it, use a ton of bbq sauce. Then when you’re done, take the grill back to Home Depot and demand a refund. In $100 bills only.

Another vote for Weber. 20 year old Weber Genesis NATURAL gas grill here. I've replaced the burners and flavorizer plates 2 times. The inside of the hood rusted/gave way and Weber replaced it for free about 5 years ago.
Will buy another if/when the time comes.
Some folks mouths, flat out runs their minds.

Go cheap and use it. When the burner rots out, go down to home depot and buy a new burner for 35 bucks. Do this until the body of the grill is totally trashed. Good advice. I like Char-Broil and Weber but they all have a shelf life about the same. When it plays out, take it to the metal recyclers.

Life journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved state. But rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy carp what a ride!"

For sub $500 grills I would probably go on the cheaper side. They're all going to rust and rot away pretty quickly anyway

I've had the same two-burner Weber for going on 20 years now. Replaced the burners twice and bought some grill grates for it. It's on its third cover. The frame is finally starting to rust through in a few spots, but it still cooks great. I'll buy another Weber at some point. Check craigslist and FB Marketplace. Some great deals out there on barely used grills. I swear by my Weber Spirit. We've had several years. All I have had to replace is the hats over the burners. I've cooked a herd of cattle on that little thing.

12 year old Weber Summit 6 burner natural gas still going strong. Spent 10 years living at Bayou Vista in a salt water environment. The cost of ownership is steep $3K+ but a good friend sold his place at the beach and started living/traveling full time in an RV and donated it to me. I have 4 Weber products and they have all been exemplary
