Not looking for your secret honey holes but just some good ponds/ spots to fish in the area. I am a broke guy who uses cheap gear. I just got back into fishing after a 7-year break. Can anyone help me out with some good spots that arent too pressured?

Another day, another new urban pond, and a skunk frown Tried lake Como today in Fort Worth, lots of great looking areas to fish tons of cover but only one bite and no fish.

Skunk is better that not fishing I bet!

How was lake Como as far as security? I live on the other side of DFW and never been there but I have heard guys joke about it being a sketchy area with crime and what not...

A bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work!!! I was there right at dawn and it was empty other than a lot of trash on the ground. There is no denying that it is in the hood, but no one messed with me or anything. Though it always is good advice to keep your eyes open when fishing anywhere.
