I have new 24V 80# Terrova with 60" shaft on recently acquired 2010 Nitro Z-7. What is best way to support 60" shaft while moving on water and traveling on highway? Will PVC pipe work or need "special pre-fab" support?

I've had 2 60" shaft trolling motors in 9 years,...no support needed. I thought the same thing, that it would need a brace.
I never used anything,..no problems. There are braces you can buy on line. jim

x2 Mine is a 2015 Terrova 60" Shaft on it's 3rd boat. 2 bass boats and a Pontoon in between. Each time I switched boats I thought I would brace it on install. It still bothers me driving down the highway when I look in the mirror and see it bouncing in the wind, but the shaft not being supported has not had an impact on performance.
