If you're of that age, strap yourself in and do it, it could save your life, too.

My brother died last Tuesday from colon cancer at age 64. He waited until 58 for his first colonoscopy and it was too lake, he was stage four.

Sorry to hear that.

Nobody wants to but I promise you, you don’t want colon cancer.
Go get it done.

Better than nothing but certainly not a replacement for a colonoscopy.

A fishing buddy of mine is a retired gastroenterologist. He told me the problem with those poop in a box test is if anything is found, you already have cancer. The regular colonoscopy they can find any precancerous plops and remove them before the turn into cancer. I'll stick to the Colonoscopy even with the prep work.

My wife had a positive cologuard test. Her doctor said cologuard is not a sure thing either way. Almost all of the positives are false. Just to be sure, she’s going in for a colonoscopy in a couple weeks.

I get regular colonoscopies but do the mail in poop in a box deal just for amusement.

I get a kick out of knowing that it’s being transported with care, scanned in & out at FedEx facilities, being flown in a giant airplane and eventually signed for by some guy in a lab coat.

Sometimes (after I’ve mailed it) when I see a plane flying over my house…I point my finger skyward and wonder to myself, “Is that the plane that’s carrying my poop?”

Get scoped regularly. A buddy, after being scoped, was told he was on the 10 year plan. After 8 years he had problems and surgery to find he was at Stage 4.
