I've been selling waypoints for years on this site. Most of the waypoints I sold to people aren't even in the water, usually about 50 yards onto the bank. When they call me about it, I just tell 'em that the lake must be down. Now that is funny.

I’m paying for wypts on Choke Canyon that guarantee a bass over 11lbs. You probably still wouldn’t catch it

The angler that did the hard work is capitalizing on his skills by selling way points. The guy who struggles to decipher a graph or find fish in general just got some help. Sounds like a win win.

I think it's a disgusting act. Shameful behavior, anyone who participates in said act should be forced to take up carp fishing. But that's just my opinion.

There are lake map breakdowns on Texas lakes on YouTube. Some are on some of tge more popular lakes. You can see ifthey are accurate or not.

I'm too stubborn to fish someone else's waypoints.
I want to find fish on my own.
Best way to make sure I don't fish your spot is to tell me exactly where you caught them. Unless its a place I regularly fish, you won't ever see me fishing there.

Most if not all of the anglers that most of you idolize from "back in the day", bought info.
It's always existed. TFF is full of tourney donators that chose to think info was never shared or sold. Guess what, those guys that "always win" rarely do it on in every lake all on their own. Some lakes yes they know well and 100% have all the knowledge. But not all
One of the reasons MLF was started, the info rules were getting too strict. Now they don’t have to buy info, their referee tells them who is catching what and all they have to do is drive around til they find them.

There are not many shortcuts to fishing. When you have the best 200+ Waypoints on a lake you will spend the best part of a year fishing them to find the most consistant ones. You have to narrow them down to the best 3 in each water level.
- 3 best topwater areas.
- 3 best mid-range areas; following the fish from shallow to deep water.
- 3 best areas on the 20 ft. contour with irregular features.
With these 9 best spots you can put together a great day of fishing everytime you go. Never beat up a spot. Take what you can get and move on to the next one. A great service. Use this man’s information with confidence. You WILL catch fish.

A craft? Not everyone is a tournament fisherman. There are many of us who just want to go out and have a relaxing day of catching some fish. I don't have time nor the desire to sit and study maps. I have bought from Donald Harper, but so far haven't used them. Today you have Si, FFS, 360, etc so couldn't that also be considered cheating the craft? FFS posts say that there are some who believe so.
Very few on this site are professional fishermen but a majority seem to take fishing way too seriously. The kids found a way to make some money so let it be
