Fishing on our pond and about 80% of
The bass have these small little worms inside
The mouth and throat.

Anyone know what they are and if they
are bad?

leaches... I usually take the hemo's and pull them off... nasty little buggers...

Almost every bass in Choke Canyon have a mouth full of leaches.

Something I’ve noticed, I’ve never seen the leaches in crappie, catfish or gaspers.

Every bass I caught there last spring, their mouths were so raw, I was surprised that they wanted to eat anything.
Worst I've ever seen.
