Are you sure that people that go seek help with transgenderism are told to change first? Or do they get counseling and find out the best way to solve their problem is to get medical treatment after they look at non invasive means. The obvious difference in your comparison is that anorexia is a deadly condition if allowed to progress as you say by giving liposuction. Transgenderism is not.
