I know this has been beat to death a million times, but all oils have to meet manufacturers api specs, and this even meets dexos spec (won’t void gm warranty). I’ve used it in a ton of different vehicles, gear lube, trans fluid, engine oil, you name it. I don’t stretch my maintenance intervals and I use a high quality filter, never had any problems. Can’t see it being any better or worse than any of the standard big box brand oils available on the market these days.

I use it for most applications they make something for. My wife’s car has 180,000 miles of almost exclusively supertech oil. Mostly use motorcraft filters but have used the supertech filters as well when others are not in stock. Vehicle runs great doesn’t use oil smoke etc. runs great.

Filter wise I have used a few myself, they have changed suppliers in the last year or two because the filter has gone changed in color and a few of them are bigger lengthwise now, I wouldn’t hesitate to use their filters for a normal OCI. I have a stash of motorcraft and purolator filters that I’m finishing up using for a few things, but I’ve more or less switched to baldwin for all of my filter (air, fuel, oil, transmission) applications, they have a very sturdy build and the cut open of one showed good filter media with lots of pleats and a solid spring on the bottom, buy in bulk on rockauto and save $$$.

Super tech is made by Warren Oil and they are a respected company. Nothing at all wrong with it.I run it in my ram 2500 with the Cummins and the recommended interval is every 15,000 so that’s what I do. Has almost 190,000 on it.

They have 15w-40 and they have straight 30 weight. I believe they also have it in hydraulic/transmission oil for tractors, as well as an sj rated lawnmower oil, also have some wet clutch rated oils, as well as lower unit oil. The only thing I can’t find is a conventional wet clutch rated oil in their brand.
