Wanted to see if anyone here might know what size rod tip would fit my 7'6" MH Mojo Bass rod. The insert broke and the guide is damaging my line just enough to make me want to replace it.

Model number MJC76MHMF. I emailed St Croix 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back. I don't necessarily care what brand/style rod tip I get to replace it just so long as it fits well.

If you have a digital caliper you can measure the diameter of the rod at the tip and get an idea or you can download some sizing guides that will have dots to represent the rod tip and you can get a size idea that way

Don't know where you're located, but if there's a St. Croix dealer close, take it there and see if they have one to fit. Most any decent tackle shop should be able to help. In Rockport, you take your rod in to Tackle Town, and they put a new tip on while you wait, for $4.00! They're a dealer for many rod brands, but they don't care if yours is a Dobbins or WalMart rod. Service! Mostly a thing of the past. IslandJim
