I cooked the meat / consommé a while back and they turned out great. Lots of work and ingredients though. I used short ribs and Chuck roast for the meat. I actually prefer Carne Adovada tacos more. Taqueria Nuevo León located in Carrollton, Garland and Richardson serves Birria Tacos and they are excellent,
Better yet are the Birria Tacos at Rayos Taquería in Northeast Dallas.
